To visit and stay in India, Foreign nationals appointed as directors in Indian companies must comply with visa, residency, and reporting requirements set by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Bureau of Immigration (BoI) and its Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRRO) in the MHA structure and Consular services of Indian Missions in the MEA structure are the divisions appointed to provide the services, supervise the activities and compliance of foreigners involved in business.
